GENERAL
1.The ‘ ICICI Pru Retirement World’s Best Job Contest’ (hereinafter referred to as the
“Contest”) is being organized by ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Limited (hereinafter referred to as “ICICI Prudential”).
2.The decision of ICICI Prudential shall be final in all matters relating to this contest and
no correspondences will be entertained.
3.ICICI Prudential reserves the right to change these terms and conditions without prior
notice. A participant shall be deemed to have notice of any such amendments or interpretations upon publication of the same on www.retirementbestjob.com and shall be deemed to have accepted such amendments or interpretations by virtue of his/her continued participation in the contest.
4.Should a participant wish not to continue to participate in the contest pursuant to the
prevailing terms and conditions as amended or interpreted, he/she may terminate participation in the contest upon written notice to ICICI Prudential, at the following address - P 9 Integrated (A Division of Percept Limited), P-2, Level C4, Raghuvanshi Estate, 11/12 SB Marg, Lower Parel (West), Mumbai - 400013, INDIA.
5.This Contest cannot be clubbed with any other offer or Contest by ICICI Prudential.
6.In case of the breach of the terms & conditions by the participant, ICICI Prudential reserves the sole right to disqualify him/her from the contest at any stage.
CONTEST DETAILS
7.The Contest is valid from September 07 to September 30, 2009 [hereinafter referred to as “The Contest Period”] in cities and towns across the country, except Tamil Nadu. No entries coming in post 1800hrs on September 30, 2009 will be considered for the contest.
8. To participate in the Contest, participant will have to
- log on to www.retirementbestjob.com or
- SMS ‘trial’ or ‘Live’ to 57827* and answer simple questions on the contest via SMS, or
- Entry forms can be sent to the provided address: P 9 Integrated (A Division of Percept Limited), P-2, Level C4, Raghuvanshi Estate, 11/12 SB Marg, Lower Parel (West),Mumbai - 400013, INDIA.
- Entry forms can be submitted at select ICICI Prudential Branches
9.The participants will have to choose from a pre-determined list of 39 dream jobs under this contest provided by ICICI Prudential on the website/in other contest entry means (entry forms,SMS etc)
10.From all the correct entries received during the contest period, 5(five) winners in total,
will be chosen as follows: In the first 10 days – 2 winners In the next 14 days – 3 winners
11.ICICI Prudential shall require winner/s to provide proof of identity, age and residency.
Identification considered suitable for verification is at ICICI Prudential’s discretion.
12.The 5 winners will be annouced on the www.retirementbestjob.com website. Participants are required to check the website regularly to find out the winners of the contest.
QUALIFYING ENTRIES
13.The Contest is open to all residents of India above the age of 18 years (except all
residents of the state of Tamil Nadu),. The directors and employees of ICICI Prudential Life Insurance,P9,Interactive Avenues, Lowe Lintas,Ignite,Mindsketch and their family members and relatives and affiliate/ associate/ subsidiary/parent Companies agencies service provider’s directors and employees and their family members, relatives and
affiliate/associate/subsidiary/parent Companies are not eligible to participate / enter in
the contest. The contest is not open to ICICI Prudential Advisors or any other sources
through which ICICI Prudential policies are sold like Banca partners, Corporate agents,
Brokers & Referral partners
14.The Contest is open only to the subscribers who enter the contest through the website www.retirementbestjob.com, SMS ‘trial’ or ‘Live’ to 57827* ,submit the contest entry form at select ICICI Prudential Branches or write to us at the following address: P 9 Integrated (A Division of Percept Limited), P-2, Level C4, Raghuvanshi Estate, 11/12 SB Marg, Lower Parel (West),Mumbai - 400013, INDIA. Participants entering the contest through SMS are required to have valid mobile connections of Airtel, Aircel (North & East), BSNL, BPL Mobile, Idea and Vodafone since 57827 is accessible only on these networks. Service charges per SMS will be applicable as per the service providers. All response mechanisms (delivery of SMS, delivery of postal mail, entries on website) depend on performance of third parties; ICICI Prudential does not take any responsibility of failures occurring with the same.
15.ICICI Prudential may, in its sole discretion, disqualify entries from, and prohibit
further participation in this contest by, any person who tampers with or benefits from any
tampering with the entry process or with the operation of the contest or acts in violation of
these conditions, acts in a disruptive manner or acts with the intent to annoy, abuse,
threaten or harass any other person PRIZES
16.The Contest prize shall constitute of (i) a chance to live an all expenses paid dream job
for a period of 1 week as per the entry submitted for this contest and (ii) a fixed amount of Rs.30,000/- (Rupees Thirty Thousand only, hereinafter referred to as the “prize money”) for each winner. ICICI Prudential will only be liable to pay Rs. 30, 000/- on successful completion of the 1 week Dream Job experience.
17.The dream job being organized by ICICI Prudential for a period of 7 days will have a
financial cap of Rs 2 lakhs, for each winner.
18.Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash. Prizes are non-transferable and non–substitutable and subject to Tax Deduction at Source, wherever applicable.
19.The nature of the prize gratification in terms of the quality of the job, location,
accommodation, itinerary is solely as per ICICI Prudential’s discretion & cannot be
challenged or be altered to suit the requirements of the winner in any way.
20.Post announcement and intimation, the winner shall be required to be physically present at the location intimated to claim his/ her prize within 2 days of his finalization. In case the prize is unclaimed by the winner within the stipulated period, the winner automatically surrenders his/ her right to the prize and shall not have any claim, thereafter and in such a event, ICICI Prudential reserves its right to transfer the prize to the next winner chosen in the same draw.
21.If at any time during the competition or after the competition is over, a winner is found
out not complying with the terms and conditions, mentioned herein, ICICI Prudential reserves the right to cancel the payment of the prize money and may recover the claimed prize money by appropriate legal recourse. In such a scenario the winning entry will be discarded and a newwinner of that prize will be determined. ICICI Prudential’s decision is final and no correspondence shall be entertained in this regard.
22.ICICI Prudential may at anytime, at its discretion, change the prizes mentioned above
without prior notice. The prizes are given subject to applicable taxes and any tax or levy
shall be borne solely by the winner. ICICI Prudential accepts no responsibility for any tax
implications that may arise from the prize winnings.
23.ICICI Prudential has the sole discretion of selection of the winner and the prizes.
24.ICICI Prudential accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly
submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence
whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, unauthorized data hacking, deletion,
theft, destruction, virus attack, transmission interruption, communications failure, hardware failure or otherwise. ICICI Prudential has no control over communication networks or lines and does not accept any responsibility for any problems associated with them, whether due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise. ICICI Prudential is not liable for any consequences of user error including (without limitation) costs incurred.
25.ICICI Prudential, reserves the right to, terminate, modify or extend this Contest, at any time at their absolute discretion, without assigning any reason. Decision of ICICI Prudential will be final and binding regarding this contest and prizes.
26.Neither ICICI Prudential nor any of its associated agencies and companies shall be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained
(whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this contest or
accepting or using any prize. Without limiting the previous paragraph, ICICI Prudential and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any damage in transit to prizes.
27.If for any reason any aspect of this contest is not capable of running as planned,
including by reason of infection by computer virus, mobile network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of ICICI Prudential which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this contest, ICICI Prudential may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest, or invalidate any affected entries.
28.ICICI Prudential shall not be liable for any delay in performing, or for failing to
perform, any or all of its obligations resulting from any cause beyond its reasonable control in the nature of fire, explosions, natural calamities, State Emergency, riots, etc.
OBLIGATIONS
29.The winners must, at the request of ICICI Prudential, participate in all contest activity
(such as publicity on TV, Radio, press, internet and photography etc) surrounding the winning of the prize, free of charge, and they consent to ICICI Prudential using their name and image in all contest material.
30.The participants agree to pay applicable charges for the SMS to 57827* or any other
numbers that may be specified later, to their telecom service provider.
31.Unless otherwise indicated ICICI Prudential shall deem the information voluntarily
supplied during the course of the Contest and /or personal information provided by all
participants as non-confidential, which hereby discharges all obligations of confidentiality.
ICICI Prudential shall be free to reproduce, use, disclose and distribute the information to
third parties without limitation. 32.Sending of SMS entries to 57827* / replies via snail mail/website, entry forms, constitutes acceptance to the Terms and Conditions of the Contest. All contestal materials, including details on how to enter and claim prizes are part of these Terms and Conditions of the Contest .
33.These terms and conditions are governed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, alone.
34.The contestant or winner cannot speak to media about the contest with our prior permission from ICICI Prudential
35.In the event of dis-satisfaction of the experience on part of the winner, the same cannot be redeemed in cash by the winner
36. ICICI Prudential will not be bound to give any explanations and / or disclosure any
documentary proof for such elimination, disqualification, prize distribution etc. save and
except required by law.
37. ICICI Prudential will not be liable to respond to any of the correspondences and / or
protest from the Contestant.
38. Incase of any misrepresentations, coercion and/ or any undue influence caused on the part of the Contestant, ICICI Prudential reserves the sole right to disqualify him from the
contest at any stage.
39. In the event the Winner does not claim the contest prize within the time frame, ICICI
Prudential will not be liable for the same.
